The Los Alamos National Laboratory Research Library is supporting International Open Access Week, October 18 – 22. What is Open Access in scholarly publishing? Open Access is the free, immediate, online availability of high quality, peer reviewed research results.

The kickoff event for Open Access Week @ LANL will be a panel discussion October 19 featuring LANL researchers who have published in OA journals Learn what LANL researchers have to say about their experiences with OA publishing. Learn why they chose to publish in OA journals, how they made the decision on which OA publisher to work with and what benefits they have seen from their decision to publish OA.
