Open Access Week is A great Idea and An avenue to promote use of Electronic Resources

Creating awareness to open access to users will go along way to supplement printed information sources especially in libraries with limited budgets as well as making accessible current information to students researchers and lecturers as well as other practitioners in other fields.

availability of infomation communication facilities in the libraries has a direct impact on the utilisation of infromation resources. OA is a great way to fill information gaps caused by lack of funds and shrinking space. we aplaud the weeks activity as we sensitize our clietele on the use of e-library and manifest its browsability and sereptipitous data mining.
