Global Summit on Diamond Open Access
The purpose of the Global Summit on Diamond Open Access is to bring the Diamond OA community together in a dialogue between journal editors, organizations, experts, and stakeholders from all continents. This unique event consists in a series of hybrid and multilingual events organized by Redalyc, UAEMéx, AmeliCA, UNESCO, CLACSO, UÓR, ANR, cOAlition S, OPERAS and Science Europe; seeking to implement collective action in the spirit of the UNESCO and BOAI 20 years Recommendations on Open Science, where Equity, Sustainability, Quality and Usability are the pillars of our work.
This summit is a commitment to keep a frank and open conversation to establish a dialogue that will allow us to strengthen an inclusive publishing sector that fosters scientific advances. Joining forces, sharing infrastructure, increasing capacities, meeting, recognizing each other, as well as understanding that OA is a means to an end, are the motivations that guide the call for a Global Summit on Diamond Open Access.

Science Day
On the 24th of November, the ISLA Research Center will celebrate “Science Day”, the world science day.
This event, which will cover an interesting set of initiatives, aims to encourage the ISLA community to participate in scientific development.
The program not only includes lectures given by invited experts, who will tell us about the pressing need to produce Science, but will also count on the effective involvement of our students.
Thus, students from our Bachelors, Masters and Postgraduate courses are invited and awarded, who, through Posters, better present their ideas, projects already completed, ongoing, or even that have not yet started.
The best works of each course will receive monetary prizes (to be deducted from tuition fees), and their authors will be invited to present their work during the event, in the ISLA Auditorium.
Let's celebrate "Science Day"!!!
