International Open Access Week at Deakin Library

  • Melbourne, VIC Australia (map)

Join Deakin Library for Open Access Week as we discuss, share, learn, and workshop the Open Access Landscape. Open Access Week is an international campaign with the theme of this year’s event being Community over Commercialisation. Over the week of October 23, Deakin Library will host a series of events to recognize Open Access Week 2023. The program, which will be spread across three campuses, includes a keynote address by University Librarian, Hero Macdonald, an online panel of Deakin journal editors, an interactive workshop for members of the Deakin research community to co-create solutions to the wicked problem of the current state of Open Access publishing, and a hybrid panel about Open Education. Please see the main event page for details on each individual event.
