Continuing its tradition since 2016, Dr. S. R. Lasker Library observed International Open Access Week (October 20–26) under the theme “Who Owns Our Knowledge?” The celebration highlighted the growing urgency of reclaiming community ownership of knowledge in the face of AI and commercialization in research.
As part of the event, the library launched a reflective activity titled Knowledge Ownership Audit – A Self-Reflection Toolkit, encouraging students to examine how they create, access, and share knowledge. The initiative runs until 30 October 2025 and aligns with the global call for openness, transparency, and equity in knowledge sharing.
